How to install and use the BC-SGPS Kit

How to Hook UP the BC-SGPS: 


For the SDS100


1. Connect the DC Adapter:

  • Insert the DC adapter into the power input on the Power Converter.

2. Attach the RS232 serial Cable:

  • Plug the USB end of the RS232-to-USB cable into the lower USB port on the side of the SDS100.

Connect the serial end of the cable to the Power Converter box, and securely tighten the connection by screwing it in.

  


3. Connect to the GPS module:

  • Plug one end of the grey RJ14 cable into the GPS unit.
  • Insert the other end of the RJ14 cable into the Power Converter.

4. Connect to Power:

  • Connect the DC power adapter to the cigarette lighter port in your vehicle to supply power 

to the system.


For the SDS200 

1. Connect to the GPS module:

  • Plug one end of the grey RJ14 cable into the GPS unit.
  • Connect the other end of the RJ14 cable into the GPS port on the back of the SDS200, labeled GPS.


For the BCD536HP

1. Connect the Dual ended RS232 serial Cable:

  • Insert one end of the dual-ended RS232 serial cable into the GPS/Remote port on the back of the BCD536HP. Screw it in to tight the connection
  • Attach the other end of the RS232 serial cable to the Power Converter, and ensure the connection is tight by screwing it

2. Connect to the GPS module:

  • Plug one end of the grey RJ14 cable into the GPS module.
  • Insert the other end of the RJ14 cable into the Power Converter.

3. Connect to Power:

  • Connect the DC power adapter to the cigarette lighter port in your vehicle to supply power to the system.
