Guide to Purchasing Scanner Keys

Step 1. Go to uniden.com.

Step 2. Select the support tab from Uniden’s homepage.

Step 3. Select the “Learn More” option under Product Registration. 

Step 4. Log into my.uniden.com with your credentials that were used to register your products.

Step 5. Select “All My Scanners” to view all of your registered products in this category.

Step 6. You will see your associated product on the list with “ESN Needed to purchase “____” key”.  Select the key you want to purchase. 

Step 7. To find your ESN and SUM for your unit, go into your settings on the device itself. Scroll down to where it says, “Scanner Information” and select it.

Step 8. Under scanner information, select the option labeled “Firmware Version” to be presented with the ESN and SUM.

Step 9. Enter the information into the associated fields as they apply to you, and the ESN/SUM found in step 8.

Step 10. Once registered, you will see the device is now registered to your account, with the options “Purchase __ Key”. If you select this, it will pull open an acknowledgement window as shown below.

Step 11. Enter your payment information. Once you have verified all of the information is correct, press “Continue”. 

Step 12. You should now see the key you purchased say “Generate _______ Key” rather than 

Purchase ___________ Key. You can enter the generated code into your scanner. Ensure that the numbers and letters being entered are the same as what was generated for you.
