How To Return Your Order
Before proceeding, please make sure your order is eligible for return.
Orders of new products may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date, if the product is in complete and good condition. This policy does not apply to Factory Certified Radar Detectors. As stated on our website, all sales on Factory Certified devices are final and not eligible for return.
If you need assistance with your Factory Certified Radar Detector, please reach out to our Customer Service team - we'll be happy to help. Every Factory Certified Radar is backed by a 90-day repair warranty.
To Initiate A Return:
Please follow the steps below to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible.
- Confirm that your order is eligible for return and that all included parts, user manuals, and accessories are placed back in the original product packaging.
- Print off a copy of your receipt and write "RETURN" at the top of the page. (The order number can be found at the top right of your order confirmation email. Please make sure your address is included.)
- Place your order and the receipt in a box and ship it using a carrier that provides tracking information to:

If you paid for ShipSafe package protection with your order, please reach out to customer service for your prepaid shipping label.
Returns Processing & Refunds:
Once your order is received, it will be entered into our Returns queue. Please note that, depending on the volume of returns, there may be a slight delay from delivery to our facility and processing it into the queue. After your refund has been issued, you will receive an email confirmation from our system. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the refund to reappear on your payment method.

How do I tell if my order is eligible for return?
Orders are eligible for return if:
- The items were purchased NEW (this doesn't include Factory Certified)
- The item is undamaged and in good condition
- You return the item back to us within 30 days from the date of purchase
How quickly can I expect my refund?
Refund processing times may vary depending on the return volume at the time. While we generally estimate up to 45 days from the day we receive your return, refunds are often processed much sooner. During high-volume periods, such as holidays, please allow for more time for your return to process.
Once the refund has been issued, you will receive an email confirmation from our system. The time it takes for this credit to appear in your account depends on your financial institution. In most cases, funds can be seen back in your account within 3 to 5 days, but we recommend contacting your bank directly for more specific credit processing times.
How will I know my return has been received?
At this time, we're unable to provide a notification when your return has been received. We recommend monitoring your shipment using the tracking information provided by the carrier. If you don't receive a confirmation email about your refund within 7 business days after your device has been reported as delivered, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service team and we'll be happy to assist.
Do I need a Return Authorization Number (RMA)?
No. The only number you will need to provide is your order number, which can be found at the top right of your order confirmation email.
Will I receive a prepaid return shipping label?
Pre-paid shipping labels are not provided for returns unless ShipSafe package protection was purchased with your order. If you did purchase ShipSafe package protection, please reach out to customer service team, and we'll be happy to assist you with a prepaid return shipping label.
I purchased my Uniden product from Amazon or another retailer. Can you still help me with a return and refund?
Unfortunately, no. We're only able to assist with purchases made directly through our website. For third-party purchases, please contact the original retailer the product was purchased from.
What should I do if my order arrived defective or damaged?
If your order arrived with an issue, please contact our Customer Service team and we will be happy to assist! However, if you would prefer to return an item that arrived defective, please include in the box a note detailing the issue with the product.
If your item(s) appears to have been damaged during shipping, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.

Return Policy
Products Purchased Directly From Uniden America Corp. With the exception of “Factory Certified”, “like-new”, “refurbished”, “reconditioned”, “renewed”, or other similar products (hence forth known as “Factory Certified”), all new products purchased directly from Uniden America Corporation (“Uniden”) are covered by the limited warranty included in the goods packaging. Typically, these warranties include a one-year warranty on goods, a three-year warranty on marine products and a 90-day warranty on parts and accessories. Goods that are not used in a manner consistent with its specifications or use or maintenance directions, or if is improperly installed, modified or maintained are excluded from such warranty coverage. Digital Keys are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please refer to warranty information included in the package for exact specifications for your purchase.
New products purchased from Uniden may be returned for a full refund, excluding shipping and handling charges, only if the product is returned within 30 days of the date it was delivered to the customer only if the product is in complete and good condition. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns past the 30-day window. If the unit is not functioning correctly, please refer to the warranty information above. Factory Certified products are not returnable but are covered by a 90-day limited warranty.
“Factory certified” products are discounted products that may include damaged packaging, open box, returned, or other “not new” situations. All “Factory Certified” products are professionally inspected, tested, and certified to operate at Uniden standards. These products may have slight signs of wear and tear, such as scratches, dents, or chips which do not affect usability or performance. All accessories are included. These products come with a 90-day warranty. All sales are final.
Uniden sells and supports products sold in the United States of America (USA) and Canada (CAN). For products either purchased outside of USA/CAN or purchased in USA/CAN and then taken outside of this area, Uniden is unable to provide direct support for repair, warranty replacement, or other fulfillment issues. Should you wish to obtain support, you will need to have a contact with an address in USA/CAN to work as an intermediary or agent on your behalf.
