We've got you covered - from placing it, to tracking it, and handling any issues that may arise along the way. Below are answers to frequently asked questions about your Uniden.com order. 



What should I do if I haven't received any information or updates on my order?


First, please check your spam or junk folder in case your order-related emails were filtered there. If you're still unable to locate any and have confirmed that your payment method has been charged, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance. You can reach us online here or by calling 1-800-297-1023, 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday.





How can I check the status of my order?


Uniden customers are required create an account at Uniden.com To view your order status, log into your Uniden.com account. From your account dashboard, you can see your order history. By selecting a specific order order, you'll be able to see its status, tracking information, and your order total. 


You'll also receive confirmation emails to the email address associated with your order when your its received, shipped, and delivered.
 




How do I get my tracking number?


Orders are usually fulfilled within 1 - 2 business days. Once your order is ready to ship, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. If it's been several business days since your order was placed and you haven't received any updates about your order, please reach out to our Customer Service team.






How can I check when my order is expected to arrive?


While Shopify provides it's own estimate of when an order will arrive, we recommend checking your order tracking information provided by the shipping carrier for the most accurate estimate. 




How do I cancel my order?


To request an order cancellation, please contact our Customer Service team online here or by calling 1-800-297-1023, 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday.


We’ll make every effort to accommodate order cancellations requests; however, cancellations can’t be guaranteed and depend on the order's fulfillment status. 


If your order has already been processed and a tracking number has been issued, it can no longer be canceled. In these cases, we may be able to arrange for it to be sent to our Returns queue, provided the request is made before 1 PM CST on the same day the shipment confirmation email is sent. 


If a cancellation is successful, you will be notified by email and a refund issued the same day to the original form of payment. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the refund to reappear back to the payment method. Please note that the exact time this credit takes to process depends entirely on your financial institution. 





Can I change my shipping or billing address?

Shipping addresses can only be updated to another address within the same state as the address provided at checkout. Once an order has been submitted, we're unable to change the billing information.


To request a shipping address change, please contact our Customer Service team online here or by calling 1-800-297-1023, 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday.


Please note that on the day your order is marked as being shipped, we're unable to make address changes after 1 PM CST. 




What happens if I suddenly have to go out of town?


At Uniden, we understand that life is unpredictable. Depending on the situation, we may be able to temporarily hold your order or have it shipped to a FedEx location for pickup. For longer delays, we recommend requesting a cancellation. If you find yourself in this situation, please contact our Customer Service team online here or by calling 1-800-297-1023, 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday, and we'll be happy to help. 




My package appears to be lost/misdelivered. Can you help?


Sometimes there may be a delay between tracking scans during transit. However, if it has been more than three business days since your tracking was last updated, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance. 


If your suspect your package may have been misdelivered, please:

  1. Check around the delivery location, including with members of your household and neighbors. 
  2. Reach out to the carrier see if they can help locate it. They may be able to provide more information and recover the package.

In the event the carrier is unable to locate your package, please reach out to us for further assistance. 




When are orders shipped?


Orders generally ship within 1 – 2 business days from the date of purchase, though additional time may be required during peak periods. 


Please note that orders placed after 12:00 PM CT may be processed the next business day, and we do not ship on weekends or U.S. holidays. 




Can I get expedited shipping?


Uniden offers free shipping on all orders of $99 or more. Our free shipping option is FedEx Home delivery, with an delivery time-frame of 3-5 business days. For faster delivery, Uniden also offers FedEx Express Saver (3 business days) and FedEx Overnight (next business day after shipment). 


Please keep in mind that fulfillment time is separate from shipping time when selecting your shipment method. Orders generally ship within 1 – 2 business days from the date of purchase, though additional time may be required during peak periods. Orders with expedited shipping are typically shipped within 1 business day.




Can you ship internationally?


At this time, we're unable to ship outside the USA and Canada. 




How do I apply a discount code?


After adding your product(s) to your cart, click the "Check Out" button. On the right side of the checkout page, underneath the list of product(s) in your cart, is a field where you can enter your discount code (as seen below).




Once entered, click "Apply." If the code is valid and has been successfully been entered, it will appear in a grey box beneath the field, and a note detailing the savings will appear under the total (as seen below).






I forgot to add my discount code, can I have it applied?


While we're unable to modify the order total once its been processed, we can absolutely have the discount amount refunded back to your payment method. To request this, please contact our Customer Service team online here or by calling 1-800-297-1023, 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday, and be sure to provide your discount code for validation.


 



Does Uniden have a discount for Military and/or Veterans? 


Yes! Uniden is proud to partner with GovX to offer an exclusive discount to verified members of the military and first responder communities. There is a limit of one GovX discount code per day. For more information on how it works, click here

Does Uniden offer a trade-in program?


Currently, Uniden doesn't offer a trade-in program. We understand some customers are looking for this option, and encourage exploring local businesses that offer used devices or trusted online resale platforms to find a new home for your Uniden device.
